| We draw actors from as far away as 100 miles and actors repeatedly return to Licklog Players because of their positive and creative experiences at the theater. There are typically two audition dates for each play: a Saturday from 10am-1pm and the following Monday from 7pm-9pm. Scripts are generally available for perusal prior to auditions. Cast hopefuls may prepare a scene from the script, may read live from the script or perform a scene from another play. Audition notices are placed in area newspapers and on local radio channels for two weeks prior to the first audition date. If cast, evening rehearsals are usually held in the evenings Monday – Friday, sometimes with limited weekend rehearsals from the week of auditions through the opening of the play. Licklog Players also welcomes individuals interested in participating in the backstage portion of the production such as set building, set painting and costumes to the auditions.
