Class 1: Drama, (acting, blocking)
Class 2: Costume and Stage Make-up
Class 3: Musical Theatre
Session #2 Each morning offers 3 classes.
Class 1: Drama, (acting, blocking, stage fighting)
Class 2: Illusion and Magic
Class 3: Old English Country Dancing

CONGRATULATIONS to the Peacock Pride on their Twenty-fifth Annual Children’s Theater Workshops. The purpose of these workshops are to acquaint young people with great literature, to have the opportunity to gain a sense of self-confidence, to develop better communication skills, and to learn from a faculty of versed professionals. This year the themes of our summer sessions revolves around the classic, “King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table” First session; Classes in Acting, stage make-up and Costume, Set design and Lighting and Sound will be offered. Our classes are exciting, invaluable activities that will enrich your child’s life. In acting class, students will work on the basics, characterization, movement, speech, diction, and improvisation, taught by Edie Kleinpeter. Tom Payne, our resident magician will teach magic and illusions, such as coin and card tricks, levitation and disappearing tricks. Children will learn set design and simple set building skills to provide a well rounded theater educational experience. The students will create stage makeup and dress in costumes of the times and be prepared to show case their talents on stage! This Summer…..Get DRAMATIC!
